Antonio Gramsci was a Marxist philosopher and communist politicians who wrote about political theory, sociology, linguistics and died on 1937, few years before the beginning of World War 2. Antonio Gramsci was many things, many disciplines claim him as their own. He took sides both in his thinking and in his life, even if this costed him years in prison. He keeps reminding us how knowledge cannot be neutral nor objective. Knowledge and the practice of knowledge is a political enterprise.
